Amended Traffic Advisory: Downtown Sonora

SONORA, CA: Tuolumne Utilities District (TUD) has contracted for the installation of two manholes at separate locations in Downtown Sonora next week. This is a continuation of the work started this week.

The first installation will take place at the intersection of Lytton Street and High Street on Monday, May 18 and Tuesday, May 19 2026, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Minimal traffic disruptions are anticipated during this work.

The second installation will occur at the intersection of Yaney Avenue and Oak Street on Monday, May 18 and Tuesday, May 19, 2026, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00
p.m. This work will require the closure of Yaney Avenue between Lower Sunset Drive and Seco Street. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes during this time.
