2018 CIPP Sewer Rehabilitation Project

Sealed proposals for the construction of the 2018 CIPP Sewer Rehabilitation Project addressed to the Tuolumne Utilities District, 18885 Nugget Boulevard, Sonora, California 95370, will be received at the office of the District until 2:30 p.m., local time, on Friday September 7th, 2018, and then will be publicly opened and read.
In general, the project will consist of the Installation of 2,667 LF of cured-in-place pipe ranging from 12” to 14” diameter at various locations within the District in Tuolumne County, CA. The Contract for the work will be awarded upon the basis of the total base bid price of the Bid Schedule.
A mandatory pre-bid conference and tour will be held at 18885 Nugget Boulevard, Sonora, CA at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Proposals will only be accepted from contractors represented at the pre-bid conference.

This is a public works project and the contractor’s and all subcontractor’s employees must be provided certain benefits pursuant to Section 1720 et. seq. of the Labor Code, including the payment of prevailing wage rates, if prevailing wage rates have been established by DIR. The Owner has obtained from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations the prevailing wage rates applicable to the work. Copies are on file at the Owner’s office. The contractor is responsible for determining which wage classifications are applicable to this project. (Labor Code Section 1773.2.) All contractors and subcontractors who bid or work on any public works project must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and pay an annual fee. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project or be awarded a public works contract unless registered with DIR. The contractor must post all job site notices required by regulation. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by DIR.
