FY 26′ SEWER REPAIRS – CLOSED

Project Description
Tuolumne Utilities District is accepting estimates from contractors on our current “On Call” list for four separate sewer repair projects.

1. At the intersection of Yaney Ave and Oak St, a new manhole is to be installed. The location of the manhole currently has two influent lines and one effluent line. A third influent line will need to be routed into the new manhole as well. The approximate depth of the sewer line is 4′.
2. At the intersection of Lytton St and High St, a new manhole is to be installed. The new manhole will have two influent and one effluent line. The approximate depth of the sewer line is 3′.
3. On Sonora Ave a new end of the line clean out will need to be installed. Currently the line runs straight into a customer’s property. We would like to put a Wye at the turn, extend the pipe 3′, and add the clean out.
4. At the Intersection of Sonora Ave and Hill St. TUD needs to have 65’ of 4” sewer pipe replaced. Approximate depth of the line is 2 ½’.

Each project must be submitted separately. All projects will be awarded to a single contractor, if funding allows.

The contractor will be responsible for:
*Obtaining the proper City of Sonora Encroachment Permits
*Proper notification to the City when the work will start
*Obtaining a valid USA Ticket for each project
*Adhering to TUD’s Standard Detail Drawings- see attached.
*Traffic Control
*Final Paving

The District will provide bypassing if deemed necessary, and poured in place manholes will be allowed, with permission, if needed.

Bid Meeting
There is no mandatory pre bid meeting.  Contractors are encouraged to visit the site to observe paving locations and traffic conditions. The Superintendent will be available to meet on site Friday, February 27, 2026 @ 10 AM.

Note:  This is not a bid, it is a time and materials estimate.  The Contractor is not guaranteed payment in the amount of this estimate.  Final payment will be based on actual cost-plus prescribed markups.  At the District’s option, material and equipment invoices along with payroll records may be requested before authorizing payment.
