TRAFFIC ADVISORY: SOMMETTE DRIVE

FRIDAY, AUGUST 8, 2025

SONORA, CA: Tuolumne Utilities District construction crews will begin the installation of a new 8” water mainline on Sommette Drive, as part of the Sommette Distribution Project within the District’s Capital Improvement Plan. This project is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 11th, 2025, and work will take place Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., continuing through the end of the year, subject to weather conditions.

One-way traffic will be implemented in the east lane during construction. The District will make every effort to accommodate residents while work is underway.
