PATCH PAVING AT MULTIPLE LOCATIONS
THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY
BEGINNING MONDAY, AUGUST 15,2022
SONORA, CA: Tuolumne Utilities District (TUD) has contracted with Ragsdale and Son, Inc. for road patch paving projects to finalize repairs on various areas throughout the County.
When TUD crews make emergency repairs to water and sewer lines on a paved road, a temporary paving patch is used over the section of road. Then, each year a patch paving project is put out to bid to remove the temporary cold patch and replace it with a permanent pavement patch.
TUD will begin its first round of patch paving on Monday, August 15th that will continue until mid-October 2022. Work is scheduled to take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday- Friday.
In most cases, a patch will take less than an hour. Drivers may experience delays of 5-15 minutes and one-way traffic control will be in place. Several pieces of equipment and vehicles will be in the area during the repair, and we ask that motorist in the area drive with caution.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation. For more information, contact our office at (209) 532-5536 or follow us on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/TUDWater.
