UPDATE – THURSDAY, DECEMBER 30, 2021
PG&E crews are diligently working to repair and restore water to the Tuolumne Main Canal. The Tuolumne Main Canal conveys 95% of TUD’s water supply. TUD would like to ask all water customers to continue to conserve water until repairs are completed. PG&E estimates that repairs will be completed by Saturday, January 1, 2022, conditions permitting.

PG&E MAIN CANAL FAILURE-TUD WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION
Tuolumne Utilities District (TUD) has been informed by PG&E of a Tuolumne Main Canal failure in its water conveyance system as of this morning, Tuesday, December 28, 2021. PG&E crews are assessing the failure to make repairs. TUD is asking all residents to limit their water supply until repairs to the Main Canal can be made. The Tuolumne Main Canal is the District’s main water source. All TUD water customers should limit their water use until further notice.
