The mainline water repair has been completed and water is now restored to the Sugar Pine area. For customers in the vicinity of the repair, you may experience air in your pipes. Tuolumne Utilities District (TUD) field crews are on the scene of an emergency mainline water repair located in the Sugar Pine area. The mainline water break was first reported to TUD at 1:50 PM. Residents in the area of Red Fir Drive, Manzanita Street, Pine Cone Road, Sugarpine Road and Pine Lake Drive in Sugar Pine may be experiencing low water pressure to no water. TUD crews are working as quickly as possible and estimates water to be restored by 5 PM today.
Flushing will be performed by TUD crews to clear out the water pipelines after the repair has been made and customers may experience air in their pipes. It is recommended that you run water from an outside hose bib to clear any sediment that may have been left in the pipeline. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
