UPDATE – TRAFFIC ADVISORY: SNELL STREET SEWER SYSTEM UPGRADES

Update: This work has been extended through Monday, August 17, 2026 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If there are any further schedule changes, TUD will notify the public as soon as possible.

Original: Tuolumne Utilities District (TUD) has contracted with Peterson Excavation to perform sewer system upgrades at the intersection of Snell St and Bonanza Rd in Sonora. The work is scheduled to take place Monday, August 10, 2026, through Friday, August 14, 2026, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
During the work, flagging and one-lane traffic control will be in effect with expected wait times up to 15 minutes. Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes if possible.
