BOIL WATER NOTICE CANCELLED FOR CEDAR RIDGE CUSTOMERS

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2026

Tuolumne Utilities District (TUD) and the State Water Resources Control Board has determined, through comprehensive testing of the water, that the water supplied by the Lakewood Water Treatment Plant to the community of Cedar Ridge is safe to drink and it is no longer necessary for residents to boil tap water or consume bottled water.

On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, due to a recent water mainline break causing loss of pressure in an isolated section of the water distribution system TUD issued a Boil Water Advisory to customers in affected areas within the Upper Basin Water System, in the community of Cedar Ridge.
